Grimwood and Dix have had the pleasure of getting invlolved in the new £70 million Barton Square development at The Trafford Centre. The entrance to the latest area, which features a variety of quality furniture retailers, boasts a magnificent fountain and water feature. The fountain was supplied by the a local water feature company, with Grimwood and Dix successfully installing all control and instrumentation wiring.
Grimwood and Dix Ltd have now completed the electrical installation work for the fifth level of Manchester Town Hall in Albert Square. Grimwood and Dix were responsible for equipping the elegant nineteenth century building with lighting and power for its vast office network. Distribution is broken down into fourteen phases with each phase containing a power supply to its own consumer unit. All lighting is controlled by P.I.Rs whilst the sockets, telephone and data accessories are housed on MK3 Dado Trunking.
Grimwood and Dix have once again proved themselves to be amongst the elite when it comes to electrical installation after appearing in H&V News positioned at number 20 in the “Top 30 M&E Contractors (June 2007)” The news comes after a busy year involving considerable expansion to the company.
